Front Desk Representative

General Position Description: We are seeking a dynamic, energetic personality to join our front desk family. This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service to all of our guests in assisting members with checking into classes/workouts, maintaining a clean and inviting reception area and helping to sign-up new members. Front Desk Representatives are responsible for providing exceptional customer service, creating an environment of hospitality and luxury, and consistently demonstrating a positive and professional attitude.

Responsibilities
  • Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional way
  • Making sure all members are checked into the appropriate class
  • Addressing and appropriately escalating customer complaints and or concerns
  • Making sure all me Providing information about facility, programs, classes, team, memberships and any other services offered member are checked into the appropriate class
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming lobby and front desk area
  • Taking detailed messages and relaying to the appropriate team member
  • Perform opening and closing desk duties
  • Processing payments for concessions
Requirements
  • Proven experience as front desk representative, agent or relevant position
  • General knowledge of basketball and sports language
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written); knowledge of additional languages a plus
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Word)
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Good organizational and ability to multitask
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Customer service orientation
  • High School diploma; additional qualifications will be a plus

Just Play Sports was founded by Larry Wilkins in 1996. The company began offering sports programs to children in Saratoga and Cupertino, California. Just Play Sports quickly grew from only two cities to offering programs in 22 different locations and became one of the premiere sports programs in Northern California.
